This is the definitive guide for wine lovers that now only tells you where to find the best wines, but also the best places to eat and sleep in the  Cape Winelands. It’s written by  one of the country’s premier wine and food reviewers, author of Rossouw’s Restaurants.

Isaac Newton, on the other hand, was an undistinguished student at Cambridge before the plague closed the university down and he went home to develop theories on calculus, optics and the laws of gravitation before he turned 27. We are very proud to announce that a new book by client John Thompson is set to hit South African shelves in October.  John Thompson is a thinker, astrologer and amateur mathematician who hails from Greyton. Nature’s Watchmaker, published by Blackhall Publishing in Ireland, is an inquiry into the nature of the universe. The book will be available in the UK, Ireland and South Africa. 4 Griffyn House Authors Make Sunday Times Longlist and Good Reviews Pouring In

978014302576419780980272925197817700954349781770095670 9781868423170mixedcaseIt has been a banner week at Griffyn House.  First of all, four of our authors have made it into the Sunday Times Award Longlist.  David Varty’s The Full Circle is in the non-fiction category, while novelists Lauren Beukes (Moxyland), Tracey Farren (Whiplash) and Dr. Rosie Kendal (Karma Suture) have been given the nod for the fiction catagory.    Well done, guys, and hopefully we’ll see you at the awards ceremony on August 1. Angela Read Lloyd Re-Releases Bridging the Divide

It was my great pleasure to help cleint Angela Read Lloyd  republish her book about an Anglo-Boer family, entitled Bridging the Divide, with EBW Mousehand.  It’s a fabulous book and soon to be followed by her seminal work on Moses Tladi, which will be released into book stores later this year (watch this space).
